THE VNYL “VINTAGE NEW YORK LIFE STYLE”
The VNYL, located in downtown Manhattan in the East Village in NYC, is a lifestyle space that has been designed to celebrate the influences of 1970's interior design, fashion, art, music, and attitude. Functional Creative Design worked closely with our client to incorporate their vision into a unique concept with a fresh take on the 1970s aesthetic. Designing custom millwork in 7,000 sq ft of space throughout the four floors of the super club experience with custom linen-wrapped panels, CNC walnut details, and custom beveled antique glass, along with the bespoke 1970's-inspired furniture designed by our team, fuses residential and hospitality elements to create this unique space. Keeping the neighborhood and the changing movements and trends in mind, Functional Creative Design wanted to bring a sophisticated hospitality experience with residential flair to the East Village.
