7 things that allow you to go in-ward that is part of our Founders Daily/Weekly Routine
Health & Wellness is not only a part of the experience in a hospitality setting but also a part of our daily lives. Over the past month and half, many of us are looking to re-create our self-care practices during the quarantine at home, as many of us find it just as necessary as home improvement.
It is also extremely essential to feel normal during not so normal times. Here are 7 things that allow you to go inward that is a part of our Founders Daily/ Weekly routine.
Time to unwind
1- Epson salt bath infused with essential oils of your choosing; add some ambiance to your bathroom by adding your favorite non-toxic candle or burn some Palo Santo to bring in the good vibes. A magnesium bath is traditionally known as essential mineral, crucial for proper muscle function. Research suggests that transdermal absorption of magnesium can provide therapeutic benefits for chronic muscle aches, cramping, or stiffness. Our founder likes to alternate between these two options being an athlete for many years she found it essential for recovery between races.
2- Add to your morning routine extra step by creating your own home-made body scrub, take sugar place in a glass jar and mix it with olive oil or coconut oil, and drop in some essential oil.

Choose a daily ritual
Most of us New Yorkers create, breathe, and move close to the speed of lighting compared to our counterparts living in the suburbs or the countryside. We are given time to truly pause so nurture yourself and unwind during the pandemic of 2020. No matter what you decide to do be it a salt bath to release tension in the body - burn a candle and pop open your favorite wine choose a daily ritual that gives a moment to center your energy, your thoughts, and your feelings all into one by going inward.
